A canon is a character whose plot line and overall idea is already thought out, though completing an application is still necessary. However, creativity is still very necessary, being that it is such a great responsibility to take on a canon character. It takes a load of discipline in writing and sticking to the cliche that it follows. Someone has to do it though! Try one out.
